Engagement doesn’t equal sales.

But yeah… it does give you that tiny little dopamine hit.

You know the one.
Your phone lights up…
“People are engaging with your post…”

Pfft.

For a split second you feel like a social media rockstar.
Likes. Comments. A few clapping emojis from people who would never buy from you in a million years.

Here’s the truth most “growth gurus” won’t tell you…
Engagement is applause.
Sales are commitment.
Applause is easy.
Commitment requires trust, timing, budget, and real positioning.

I’ve had posts reach hundreds of thousands of views…
and generate exactly zero dollars.

I’ve also had quiet conversations… no likes, no comments, no public fanfare… turn into five-figure and six-figure relationships.

Vanity metrics make you feel busy.
Revenue metrics build a legacy.

So sure… enjoy the dopamine hit.

We’re human.

Just don’t confuse activity with progress.
Or noise with net profit.

Because at the end of the day…
the algorithm doesn’t pay your mortgage.
