SEO is not a one off approach…fix it and forget it deal.

No, it’s a constant process and if you don’t keep up, your website will fall behind.

Years ago, we could optimize a site and it would rank high on Google for a long time without doing much. Not so much today, that website needs to be fluid, updated and ever adapting to the changes of your visitors.

It needs to be able to create what’s called a USER EXPERIENCE.

Google monitors that UX (user experience) and uses it to rank your site accordingly. If your site is not engaging to your visitors, Google will stop showing it in search queries.

Those blog articles that you should be writing and sharing to your website need to be educational, entertaining, written in a conversational tone and not stuffed full of meaningless keywords. Yup, you should be blogging more. And nope, those keyword stuffed articles that used to work years ago, that some still pump out, do nothing to rank your website or build solid UX.

Your website needs the ability to allow others to comment on your articles then share your content to their friends, fans and followers. Your website needs to be optimized socially so that when those visitors share your content the titles, descriptions and pictures are exactly how you want them to appear.

SEO is so much more than it was in 2014…and it’ll be so much more in the years to come.
