Facebook Marketplace has become the new scam central for auto scams.

Here’s how some work…
(1) they advertise a low price then when you reply they are now asking 10x more
(2) list a businesses name yet when you reply they now ask you to email someone else
(3) the picture, vin # or descriptions don’t match what is given for the vehicle
(4) the listing is posted multiple times (same pics and descriptions) but now being from different locations
(5) they ask for your information before sending additional information
If it looks too good to be true, it’s most likely a scam.
And I hate scammers.
I’ll continue to fight for you and protect you against these nefarious scammers.
If you come across what might be a scam feel free to send to me and I’ll let you know.
FYI: There are still some very awesome and reputable car dealers out there.
