So much hate on social media lately…

…and most of it is designed to elicit an emotional response and get you to share your opinion on the subject with your followers.

Oh, you say you don’t fall for that stuff, that you can’t be controlled like that…and yet, there you go posting about the President, or immigration or foreign policy or employment or whatever.

Then you spend the next day defending your position on whatever subject you shared to social. Yup, mind control.

You don’t think so?

Well, take that emotionally charged post you just shared and try to find articles that are written against your thinking. Don’t shake your head, just do it.

Yes, we all have our beliefs and opinions, but in most cases we lack the facts. We let our beliefs and opinions distort the truth.

And when confronted with actual facts and truth we say, “that’s baloney”.

So instead of being intelligent about events we allow the government and the media to shape our beliefs and control our opinions.

And it’s working.
