As an entrepreneur, if you have a system that works for you, that makes you money…

…and you give a client a quote based on your system, then they want you to do it a different way…you have a few options.

  1. explain to them the quote is based on your system not theirs
  2. bill them for the extra time
  3. fire them.

Some would say option 3 would be the last result.

I prefer that to be my first choice.

When a client hires you, they are doing so because they want your knowledge on their side and your skills at helping at them acquire new clients, higher profits or educating the masses in some way.

For them to tell you how they want you to work, is akin to them hiring you as an employee.

If you want to be an employee fine…but that’s not what being an entrepreneur is about.

But hey, it’s your choice.
