Went to the grocery store to buy a few things and decided to get a bottle of Muccinex just in case we need it.
Get to the check out and the cashier wants my ID.
Me: Why do you need my ID?
Cashier: To deter you from making meth.
Me: Huh?
Cashier: You might use the Muccinex in the production of meth.
Me: Not sure how my ID will help you determine if I’m a meth-head.
Cashier: We will know how to find you.
Me: Scanning my grocery card at the beginning of this transaction gives you all my info anyway.
Cashier: I dunno, just following the rules.
So I walk out look at my teenage kids and say, “guess we aren’t making meth today.”
