you’d better be ready to pay!
Over the last month I have had to cancel 4 potential client projects because the so-called clients weren’t ready (even after they said send an invoice). Yup, and those invoices went unpaid for several weeks. Look, I don’t start a project until I have money in hand. And sadly after 14 days of waiting for them to pay…I cancelled those invoices and fired them.
So why do I share this with you?
I share it to give you an insight on how I work. And why being ready is crucial to transforming your business. If you are not prepared you will always question the choices you are making, you will try to justify everything and you will blame others when you can’t succeed.
Paying my invoice or any consultant’s invoice is the catalyst that will move you into action. You are saying “I Trust You” and am willing to do what it takes to make my business successful.
Look I get it…you want to make sure that you are doing the correct thing, that the person you wish to hire is the right person for you or you think maybe if you hold off for some more time the heavens will open up and grant you a sign.
Been there, done that!
That wishful thinking doesn’t work.
When your friends, colleagues and acquaintances recommend my services to you, they are saying “you are our friend and we trust this guy to help you” and yet you sit on the invoice waiting for something magical to transpire tells me not only don’t you trust your friends but you don’t yourself to make decisions.
So I say to you…

Pay the invoice.
