For years I’ve been telling people not to buy fake fans (likes). And people would ask me how I knew a page had bought friends and I would always answer by the lack of engagement they are getting in ratio to the fans they have.
Well now there is a tool to see who of your friends on Instagram have bought fans or what percentage of fans are actually real. I ran this on a few of my friends IG accounts and the results were staggering. Way too many bought likes.
Below is a screen shot of a so-called influencer with almost 11,000 fans on one of their IG accounts – notice only 31% are real. Tsk, tsk…naughty, naughty.
And a screen shot of a popular motivational guru’s IG profile – surprisingly with 4,500,000 followers a whopping 73% are real.
And a third screen shot of a politician that lost in 2016. Can you guess who? Well would you look at that, only 61% of the 4.5 million fans are real.

You want to look for profiles with at least a 70% or better score. Anything below 70% is a clear indication they have either bought fake likes or that many of their followers created fake profiles to follow them.
If you want others to see you as authentic and real, buying fake likes ain’t going to do it.
