What happened to your blog?
Seriously no blog articles on your website or you stopped blogging in 2016 and visitors are wondering why you stopped.
Oh, but you continue to tell people to go to your website.
And, when they ask why the articles stopped, you just shrug your shoulders and say “I ran out of content“.
What?
Look maybe I’m an overachiever (with 75 blog articles scheduled with another 82 in draft mode that will extend my scheduled blogs until the end of next year) but, there is no reason you can’t post at least 1 article a month to your website.
Visitors are coming to you to learn, to be inspired, to get to know you. Yet, when they arrive to your site and see you stopped sharing articles, they will get the impression that you stopped caring about them.
Oh, and Google will start downgrading your website as no new content is being posted.
Google wants to see engagement on your site.
Gone are the days of “set it and forget it” websites.
You need to create a User Experience and that means providing content that visitors will find useful, entertaining, relevant and motivating in some way.
And like I stated…you only need to post 1 blog article a month to keep Google and your visitors happy.
FYI: this blog post was originally a Facebook post that I turned into a blog article.
Yeah, it’s just that easy.
Recycle from your social media, pull from your podcasts, transcribe your videos and wham-o you got yourself some great content to share out.
Now off you go…take what you learned and start blogging.
