Oh, sure I could just delete it.

But they’ll just send me another one and it will be delivered again into my inbox.

I could label it as spam, and maybe never see it. However my spam folder is already getting quite full these days.

Hey, if they didn’t ask for your newsletter and you sent it to them anyway, you really should give them a way to not get it again.

Oh, I understand the reasons some marketers do it. They leave that option off the table on purpose.

They know full well that you probably won’t ask to be removed, so they continue to send you their messages over and over again.

And you’re screaming make it stop.

But in the back of your mind, you’re thinking if only they would have made it simple to unsubscribe I wouldn’t be so annoyed.

Yup, make it easy to get rid people.

When you send out newsletters, do you really want people not inclined to read your messages being forced to, or would rather have readers who are excited for what you send them?

So make it easy for those who don’t want to be there to leave.

Put an “UNSUBSCRIBE” button somewhere that can be clicked so readers can remove themselves easily.
