Got a haircut yesterday…honestly, it felt good.
It felt like normalcy is starting to return.
No masks, no plastic partitions, no hand sanitizer.
No one talked about the virus. Or politics.
We talked about the beach, the weather, even sports.
It reminded me of what social media used to be.
We shared stories, adventures and local happenings.
Social media used be very similar to barber shop talk.
now it’s become a cesspool of toxic behavior, political rants and how scared and triggered people have become over C19.
I think everyone needs to experience their own barbershop moment (that experience that makes you feel normal again), to appreciate the way social media once was and how it can be again.
