Was looking to upgrade my iPhone and saw TMobile had a great deal on a new iPhone, so I clicked the link on their site for more info.
To which they suggested I enter my number for a rep to text me. So I did. To which I immediately regretted.
TMobile: Hi Sir, I see you requested more information.
Me: I see you have a deal on the new iPhone
TMobile: Yes, may I ask what model you currently have?
Me: iPhone 6
TMobile: Great. Will you be trading it in?
Me: Nope, not worth it. Can’t be updated to the latest iOS.
TMobile: Oh, does it have damage?
Me: Nope, in perfect condition.
TMobile: Did you drop it?
Me: Again, in perfect condition.
TMobile: Okay we can give you $35 trade in against an iPhone 8.
Me: Why would I want an iPhone 8 when they won’t be upgradable next year? I specifically asked about the Phone 12
TMobile: Sir your phone doesn’t qualify as a trade in against the new iPhone
Me: OMG, are you daft? I specifically asked about the iPhone 12 and said I was NOT trading in my old phone.
TMobile: That’s what I suggested an iPhone 8.
Me: Remind me why I’m engaging in this text conversation.
TMobile: You wanted information on the new iPhone
Me: So you were paying attention. Okay so here’s what I want you to do…and I need you to text this back so I know you understand… “I am sorry for wasting your time, please forgive me.”

Me: You still with me?
