Why share quotes?

Well…we love them! They inspire, they motivate, they compel, they give us hope, they reassure and they tell a story.

I know a lot of you like to use quotes, heck I do too.

But if you’re going to share a picture of yourself, then put your own quote on it.

Why put someone else’s quote on your picture? Oh, you think they are better than you?

Well, when you put their quote on your picture you are saying to the world, you couldn’t come up with a great saying on your own so you used someone else’s.

I don’t care if you are just starting out as an entrepreneur or if you’re been in business for 20 years…you are still unique and have in you the ability to come up with brilliant sayings…that are YOU!

And seriously, you are your brand. People recognize you. The more they can see you with your quote the more they will help you build your brand.

Now, I know you might be shaking your head and saying, but I can’t come up with brilliant quotes, it’s just easier to use someone else’s. Or everyone else does it so whats wrong with me doing it?

Every time you put someone else’s quote with your image you are telling the world that you believe in that person more than yourself…you are helping build their brand and potentially sending clients to them instead of yourself.

Learn to quote yourself!

Build your own brand.

And when people share your pictures it will be with your quotes and their fans, friends and followers will get to know you as someone they can trust.

“When you quote someone else using your picture…people only see half of you. Learn to quote yourself” – Rob Anspach

Give people a reason to see the whole you…the real you…the person that you are and want others to see.
