If you’ve followed me for a while, you know I have a few Rob-isms—truths I’ve learned through decades of business, marketing, and dealing with people who either get it… or don’t.

Some lessons you learn the hard way, but if you pay attention, you don’t have to. So here are a few of my go-to business truths:

“People buy from those they know, like, trust, and feel safe with.”
Forget fancy sales tricks—business is built on relationships. If people don’t trust you, they won’t buy from you. Simple.

“The cheaper the client, the more hassles involved.”
Bargain hunters are the worst. They demand the most, complain the loudest, and disappear when it’s time to pay. Avoid them.

“No good deed goes unpunished.”
Help someone too much, and they’ll expect it for free next time. Generosity is great, but set boundaries.

“Don’t be a PITA (pain in the ass).”
Want to grow your business? Stop overcomplicating things. Be easy to work with, reliable, and someone people enjoy dealing with.

“Stop being a hero to clients who don’t value your worth.”
Some clients will never respect your time, expertise, or prices. Stop trying to save them. Focus on the ones who appreciate what you bring to the table.

“Generic help gets generic results. Customized help build empires.
You can copy-paste advice all day, but if it’s not tailored to your business, it’s useless. Real growth comes from strategies built for you, not for everyone.

Business is about working smarter, not harder. Stick to these truths, and you’ll avoid a lot of headaches.

Which one of these speaks to you the most? Let me know.
