While listening to yet another flight attendant explain the emergency procedures it dawned on me that “putting the oxygen mask on first, before helping another” is a metaphor for most entrepreneurs.

We help people all day long (in business and at home)…sometimes we need to take pause and help ourselves first.

You see if we help the passenger next to us with the oxygen we might struggle too long and both of us will pass out without getting the proper amount of air.

Yes, it’s important to help others…but not at the sake of harming both parties.

Make sure as an entrepreneur you are making time for you, to do things that help you, that strengthen and heal you (mind, body and spirit)…then you can be better for your clients.
