It’s About The Human Element!
Yet, people seem to confuse web credibility with real life and that hampers how they perceive video and web marketing altogether. Video can be exact thing that propels your business to the top or sadly, what drives people away.
I see no point to adding “call to action” links as viewership of videos is a tad above zero and people can find us if they want to without a special link.
Videos are just for web credibility mainly.
I received that above message from a client who every month like clockwork posts another video on his YouTube channel. Why? If his attitude is that videos provide almost zero value why does he continue to make them?
A video regardless of where posted is meant to educate, entertain and engage your audience (the viewer) into learning about you, your product or your service. It’s about turning you into the authority that your viewer is looking for, not just for web credibility…for real life credibility.
Video is about sharing your expertise with another human being that can be accessed at anytime, virtually almost anywhere and only requires you to record the message once.
If you only want web credibility then why bother…video is about the human experience you gain from watching, from learning, from understanding and from gaining trust from the person sharing.
Oh, and the whole “call to action” links that can be added to your YouTube video help transform that video into a 24/7 tool that can dramatically increase sales, compel someone to download a report, fill out a form or call with questions.
If you want your videos to be warm, welcoming and create trust, to get your potential customer to call you, then you need to follow these four steps.
- Pose a question
- Introduce yourself
- Provide an answer to the question
- Share your contact information
Keep your videos short and to the point. By following these simple steps you can turn all the questions customers have ever asked you into a series of videos that make you the authority in your field, give you the credibility online as well as in the real world.
