Did all of the stores just realize they only have 2 more days to make money this year?
All of a sudden my email inbox got slammed with coupons, discounts, last minute sales and ridiculous “look at how much you can save” special offers.
And some of these emails I don’t ever recall having subscribed, opted-in, or given permission in any way to contact me.
But there they were…in my inbox.
Staring at me.
More like begging,
down on both knees
praying I would buy something from them.
And, being the nice guy I am,
I just couldn’t see them humiliating themselves to that degree…
so I did what any caring person would do…
Then I deleted their email.
That’s just too much desperation for me to handle.
So if you sent me an email offering me some wicked deal and I didn’t respond, now you know why.
In fact, I bet dollars to donuts your super duper discount email didn’t attract the sales you hoped for and most likely generated a whole bunch of time wasting customers.
“The cheaper the price, the more hassles involved!”
Yup, and sadly most entrepreneurs don’t get it.
They believe that cheap price equates to more sales….when in reality it equates to cheaper clients who demand your time, suck your energy and make you question why you got into the business you’re in to begin with.
Stop the madness.
Raise your prices.
Quit offering last minute deals.
And go after clients who value your time, respect your knowledge and make you appreciate all the reasons you became an entrepreneur.
