Where should you start? What social networks should you begin with?
Entrepreneurs when starting out using social media are overwhelmed and frustrated.
Why? Because there are so many networks and they have no idea where to start.
Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, SnapChat…oh my!
Start off with Facebook!
Why? Because it’s the most popular.
Billions of people are on Facebook and it’s easier to connect with them.
YouTube would be another network to start off with, because making videos and posting is how you educate, entertain and engage your audience and allow them to see you in a different way. You are coming to them as a “Human”. You come across easier (your image, how they see you).
If saying you have a “face for radio” (which means you aren’t that great looking) is preventing you from making videos, well there are a lot of people doing well with video.
Instagram is another great resource. Especially for posting and sharing pictures.
Facebook, YouTube and Instagram covers posts, video and pictures.
Snapchat would be an option as it allows you to share “Behind the Scenes” snaps of your life with your fans, friends and followers. It allows you to be real.
LinkedIn for the business to business connections.
Decide where you want to be and what image you want to project then use that particular network.
