A soon to be client in Nevada reached out to us with this question regarding search engine optimization…
“What we want is to be on Google local as well as in the top 3 positions for organic search. We have had other SEO firms say they can get us to show up twice on the first page, I’m having a hard time believing anyone. So my question is do these firms show up on the first page organically, we have to be in the first 3 listings or minimally on the first page.”
Here’s my answer:
Although I wish I could guarantee everything and everyone would be happy, happy, happy.
Google controls the playground, and we just follow their roles. Everything I do in my power is based on Google rules. So the chances of having multiple pages show up on the first page of Google is more likely. Can you be bumped yes. Some unethical SEO companies over promise and use black hat techniques that can get your company on page 1 thus bumping others down. These unscrupulous tactics don’t last long and the Google bots will usually find these websites and remove them.
Sometimes, it takes a while.
But, once found the bots usually will black list your site and make it very hard for it to ever rank. So based on experience, user feedback, client response we strive to keep our clients ranked properly so that they stay on page one for keywords we select for them, that they build trust with their audience and that ultimately it gets the phones to ring with new clients.
So, can your site rank organically multiple times on page 1 of Google? YES!
