Why some clients just aren’t worth keeping!

Well, let me share with you my thoughts…
I’ve been in the marketing field for over twenty years and I get these clients who want that one magic bullet. 
  • That one thing that will make all their worries go away. 
  • That one thing that they don’t have to think about.
  • They don’t have to try.
  • They don’t have to take action.
  • They just want me to hand over one thing that they can use right now that can make all their sorrows go away.
  • That can make their bank accounts go up. That can give them the comfort of living that they really dream of.
One thing I say to them…”Sure, that’ll be $1,000,000…how would you like to pay for that?” And they’ll like…”What, no way?”
And, it’s ironic, these people that don’t want to put in any work yet want the fast track. They want to be able to take their business to the next level but they don’t want to do any work.
Now, if you’re reading this…you’re not like that! 
You like to take things in steps.
You like to analyze.
You like to pull apart things and learn.
I’ve had to do the same thing.
I spent years studying marketing, studying how people think, what makes people buy, what prompts them. And it’s these keywords that I use when I write copy or do SEO or create websites for people. It’s these patterns that I write when I craft articles or write books or even ghostwrite for other people. But its those systems I have in place that took me 20 years to learn.
There was no magic bullet for me.
There was no “just give me one thing, I just need one thing”.
I had to learn!
Now as I teach my employees and even my family (my son wants to be involved) it’s a slow process.
If you’re an entrepreneur you understand the struggle, you know that there is no “magic bullet”.
It takes a lot of effort.
It takes action.
It takes compounding on every single step you take to get you where you want to be.
Don’t ever take a short cut.
