What is a corporate ghostwriter?
Join me as I explain what a corporate ghostwriter.
After writing 4 books, editing and creating templates and now writing 3 books for others I share what makes a ghostwriter.
I’ve been ghostwriting blogs and articles for doctors and lawyers for the last few years. What that means is I write their articles, their blogs, their thoughts and stories.
A ghostwriter’s job is to make professionals in the corporate world more human, to be less Vulcan like. To use their information and turn it into a piece that is understandable to the average reader. To convey their industry terms (their messages) into a more human approach so that the average reader understands what the writer is trying to convey.
A ghostwriter gets in the mind of their clients and make those articles become more than just an article. The piece needs to educate, entertain and engage the readers. So those readers get a better understanding of how friendly the doctor, lawyer or professional is and what his/her process is. It’s being more social, more open, more honest.
Is ghostwriting honest?
Yes it is. The professionals don’t always have the time to write, so a ghostwriter’s job is to interview them, use their thoughts then write the way those professionals would write, but do so in a way that makes them open, more inviting and more trustworthy.
Just like taking your car to a mechanic, you want to hire a professional that can diagnose and fix the problem. Sure you could do it yourself, but you might lack the training. Same goes with ghostwriting.
You need ghostwriter to convey your message to the world and in a way that the audience truly believes it’s written by you.
