This morning I had the unique opportunity to interview someone 14 hours into the future.
Yep, 14 hours!
No, I hadn’t been drinking.
This person was indeed 14 hours into my future.
And she had already enjoyed the day and was about ready to call it a night when I interviewed her.
Hah, okay…I’ll let you in on the secret…
It’s a space / time continuum trick that allows me to communicate via modern technology and capture their thoughts in a conversational style interview.
And being a space / time continuum thing sometimes presents challenges and glitches.
You see at 8am EST on May 1, 2015 I interviewed Pauline Longdon an up and coming brilliant copywriter who happened to be ready to go to bed. Not at 8am…but her time of 10pm.
Yes, 10pm! Pauline lives in Brisbane Australia a whopping 14 hours into my future.
The Google Hangout interview was going swimmingly until the space/time continuum caught up to us at the 38:20 mark or so…then after a few minutes I had to reboot the program so I could finish the interview.
Here’s the continuation of my interview with Pauline prior to the time/space glitch.
This was a fun interview that showcases the differences between US and Australian grammar, mailings and mindset in regard to marketing. In the end though its all about building trust and using effective copy to grow your audience and sales funnels.
Hope you enjoy the interviews and look for Pauline when she comes to the United States in October 2015.
