Them: Friday
Me: I got that, what time.
Them: 9am
Me: What time zone?
Them: PST
Me: No
Them: Yes that’s the time
Me: Then No I won’t be joining you.
Them: Why not.
Me: Well your 9am is noon my time.
Them: What? I thought you were in our time zone?
Me: What gave you that impression?
Them: Well you came highly recommended by two people I know who live here.
Me: Not seeing why that has to do with me living in your time zone.
Them: So you can’t be on the conference call?
Me: Record it and I’ll listen to it later or have your team jump on the call earlier.
Them: How about I make the call at 7am PST which is 10am EST will that work.
Me: Yes.
{proceeds to schedule conference call – day of call wastes 30 minutes making intros and I spoke for maybe 2 minutes – this was worse than being trapped in a group chat – told them no more conference calls…ever. Next time email me the transcript}
