Would you pray for me?

Yes, I did just ask that.

Sounds weird, right?

It’s not something you’d expect me to ask.

Yet, I just did.

How does that make you feel?

Will you do it?

Or will you question why I need prayers?

Does it matter?

Do I need to have an illness, injury or condition that justifies receiving such a prayer?

Can you pray for me or others without a reason?

Or are your prayers reserved for those you deem worthy?

Please pray for me.

Don’t ask why.

Don’t think of me differently for asking.

Don’t be that person who tries to figure out why I need prayers.

Don’t use your religion as a reason why you can’t pray for another who doesn’t believe what you believe.

Just pray.

In fact have a “no questions asked” prayer policy. If someone asks for you to pray for them, don’t ask questions, just do it.

If you don’t know how to word your prayer maybe this will help you…

“Heavenly Father please grant ______ strength, courage and peace to overcome the obstacles he/she is facing right now, bless him/her, protect him/her and keep him/her in your grace. Amen”

Will you pray now?

Will you pray for me?

I will pray for you.
