Getting Google To Remove A Review Is No Easy Task…
And, is quite frankly a royal PITA (pain in the assets).
A client of mine discovered a negative review on their Google Pages and notified me right away. The review it turns out was a rant from a random stranger. They weren’t even clients.
So, I called Google and they explained that we needed to flag the review and that it would be removed because it violates their guidelines and terms of service. Well, 30 days go by and still no removal.
I flagged the account again.
Today I received a call saying the review does not violate their terms as they base reviews on the “actual customer experience”.
What customer experience?
They were never a customer to experience such service good or bad. Told them we are giving them 10 days to delete the negative response.
The rep hung up on me.
