Comcast emails me about their new bundle pricing.
I’m thinking, “hmm that’ll save me $75 a month over what I have now.”
So I call them…
{I think getting hit over the head with a hammer would have been a better option}
Me: I see you have a new bundle pricing option
Them: Yes Sir, can I get your address.
Me: Okay but your system already confirmed my address and phone number.
Them: Yes, Sir but it didn’t transfer.
Me: {purposely mumbled my address – so no human could decipher what I was saying}
Them: Thank you sir for that.
Me: Yeah, what’s my options
Them: Sir you received an email by mistake.
Me: I don’t think so.
Them: We currently don’t have any current promotions.
Me: Why did you email me.
Them: We didn’t
Me: Yes you did and I can forward it to you
Them: No need Sir, it was a mistake and you shouldn’t have received an email
Me: So you are admitting I did receive an email then
Them: Sir you didn’t receive an email
Me: Apparently you failed Jedi Mindtrick school so I will tell you exactly what the email said.
{they hung up}
