That’s kind of the deal with Disney’s Club 33…an ultra-exclusive, members-only club tucked away behind unassuming doors in the parks. Unless you’ve done your homework (or have a friend on the inside), you might walk right by it, completely oblivious that behind those doors lies one of Disney’s best-kept secrets.
And yes… that’s one of the famous Club 33 doorbells you see in the photo above…this one located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Let’s clear something up right away: I’m not a member. Not yet, anyway. But like a lot of die-hard Disney fans and business minds alike, I’m fascinated by it. Why? Because Club 33 isn’t just a fancy lounge…it’s a masterclass in exclusivity, branding, and premium customer experience.
So What Is Club 33?
Walt Disney originally dreamed up Club 33 as a private space to entertain VIPs, dignitaries, and business partners… basically, a plush hideaway for movers and shakers. The first Club 33 opened in Disneyland in 1967, and over the years, other versions have popped up at Walt Disney World and parks around the globe…including Animal Kingdom.
What’s inside? Fine dining, top-shelf service, private lounges, and a level of detail that only Disney can deliver. Oh, and let’s not forget: bragging rights.

Club 33 is the epitome of scarcity marketing. The exclusivity isn’t an accident…it’s part of the allure. There’s a hefty initiation fee (think five figures and up), annual dues, and often a years-long waiting list. But here’s the kicker: that only makes people want in more.
Disney has mastered the art of making premium feel. It’s a lesson every entrepreneur should pay attention to. When you offer something rare, valuable, and truly special, the right people don’t blink at the price…they line up.
Maybe One Day…
For now, I’m on the outside looking in. But who knows? Maybe one day I’ll be sipping something top-shelf behind those doors, soaking in the atmosphere that only Disney could dream up.
