Content Creation

Creates Authority

Memes, quotes, that picture of you from 8th grade (with the wild hair), the award you won, the book you wrote…yeah it’s all content that can be used to amplify you to your audience.

Content creation is the contribution of information to any medium. Most people think of digital media specifically social media when content creation is mentioned.

Content is really “something that is to be expressed as speech, writing or any of various arts” for self-expression, distribution, marketing and/or publication. Typical forms of content creation include maintaining and updating web sites, blogging, article writing, photography, videography, online commentary, the maintenance of social media accounts, and editing and distribution of digital media.

Why Content Is Important?

The simple answer: without content people won’t know who you are, they won’t know your brand, your personality or why they need what it is you’re offering. That content is what bonds your audience to you. Let’s take that wild hair picture of you from 8th grade that you really didn’t want anyone to ever see. That picture could be the very thing that prompts someone to call you. Maybe they had the same experience and you sharing that picture was that bonding moment. That’s the magic of creating content  – it’s not about something going viral, it’s about capturing that moment in time that resonates with one person.
